Strange meat pie is a food item found in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. As with most food items, it can restore some of your hit points, but also gives you a small amount of radiation.
Fallout 3
The strange meat pie contains strange meat, which is actually human flesh. Should you have the Cannibal perk or manage to talk your way out of a confrontation with the Smith and Wilson families in Andale, Linda Smith will provide you a free strange meat pie daily.

Notes
- Outside of Andale, only one other pie exists if you have the Point Lookout add-on. It's in a broken cooler (the one on the left) in the basement of the Trapper's Shack. The small pie looks just like a mirelurk cake.
Fallout: New Vegas
In Fallout: New Vegas these items no longer instantly restore hitpoints, but act over time as with most consumables, when in Hardcore mode.
Notes
- These pies can be found inside the Bison Steve Hotel, most notably the oven where Deputy Beagle is being held, suggesting the escaped convicts are cannibals.
