“Mutants unite!”— Perk card description
Strange in Numbers is a Charisma-based perk in Fallout 76.
Effects[]
Positive mutation effects are stronger if teammates are mutated too.
Ranks[]
| Rank | Cost | Description | Form ID |
|---|---|---|---|
| ★ | 1 | Positive mutation effects are +25% stronger if teammates are mutated too. | 003808D0 |
Notes[]
The perk checks to see if the player is a member of a team and if there are any teammates that are mutated in order to take effect.
Bugs[]
- Prior to patch 1.0.4.13, the increased effect of some mutations could sometimes be extremely significant if both mutated and non-mutated players were simultaneously on a team. For example, the Bird Bones mutation can cause the player's fall speed to be reduced so much that it is possible to walk in air.[1][2][3][4] [verified]
- When remaining on an empty team after all other teammates go offline, all positive effects of mutations will be eliminated rather than restored to normal mutation levels. Unequipping and re-equipping the Strange in Numbers perk card will restore normal mutation levels. [verified]
