Changes: Stim-ply Amazing

Stim-ply Amazing is an achievement/trophy in Fallout: New Vegas which is awarded for successfully healing 10,000 points of damage with stimpaks.

Strategies

An extremely easy way to get this challenge/achievement is buying/getting about 200 stimpaks (or less, depending on your medicine skill) and then diving into a lake. You will start losing health after running out of oxygen. Then, use the stimpaks in order to heal and get the achievement.

To do this with fewer stimpaks, don the Followers lab coat, pop some mentats, have Arcade Gannon in your party and read Today's Physician. This will boost your medicine skill substantially and greatly reduce the number of stimpaks required.

Notes

Remember that HP gain from stimpaks is applied immediately for the purposes of this challenge, regardless of hardcore mode. That is to say, if a stimpak would normally heal 50 HP, and you heal 30 points to get to full health, only 30 points are applied to this challenge, even if you take damage while being healed and heal the full 50 HP.

In hardcore mode it is extremely easy to get this challenge: Get 200 stimpaks, lose enough health for one stimpak and then use all stimpaks at once.

For 15 Stimpaks and 3 Super Stimpaks every 48 hours go to the new vegas medical clinic.

You can also use healing powder, bitter drinks, and super stimpaks to heal for this challenge.
