The Stealth Boy is a torso power armor mod in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
When installed on a torso piece of power armor, the player character will activate an integrated Stealth Boy and create a temporary stealth field when crouched, effectively rendering the wearer almost invisible. This comes at the cost of increased passive AP drain while remaining crouched, with a fully drained AP gauge resulting in the stealth field deactivating.
Crafting[]
In order to craft the Stealth Boy mod, a power armor frame with the desired torso piece attached, must be installed at a power armor station.

Location[]
The Stealth Boy power armor modification cannot be found in the game world, nor is it sold by any merchants in the game. It can only be obtained via crafting at a power armor station.
Bugs[]
A companion that equips power armor with the stealth boy mod will stop generating the stealth field when hidden after some time. Asking the companion to exit and re-enter the power armor allows them to generate the stealth field again.[verified]
