Squirrels or radsquirrels[1] are creatures found in Appalachia in Fallout 76.
Background[]
These squirrels have retained the general size and form of their pre-War counterparts. The main differences between pre-War and post-War squirrels are loss of fur, loss of cheek tissue, malformation of the eyes, and small growths along the body. Squirrels will flee from all hostile actors and have no attacks with which to defend themselves.
Variants[]

Notes[]
- Despite crispy squirrel bits, squirrel stew, and squirrel on a stick appearing in every game from Fallout 3 onwards, Fallout 76 is the first game in which live squirrels are encountered.
- Squirrel pelts can be seen hanging from the waist of the hunter's pelt outfit added by Fallout 4's Far Harbor add-on. However, these squirrels are shown with complete coats of fur.
Appearances[]
Squirrels appear in Fallout 76 and Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.
