In 2103, the Settlers built Foundation on top of Spruce Knob, affording the group a commanding view of the nearby hills and valleys. The area surrounding a collapsed mine shaft to the south, in the campground area, was fortified and occupied by them.
Located on the shores of Spruce Knob Lake, this campground once offered a place for hikers to rest and relax before returning to the trail. It is a mirelurk breeding ground, though it can also be inhabited by ticks and wolves. A small camp due north, at the base of the monorail pillar, may contain a random Vault-Tec bobblehead.
- Impromptu raider meeting - Holotape, on a table in a campsite near the water, next to a tent with a steamer trunk.
- Potential Vault-Tec bobblehead - By the cooking station and a tent, on a small green table.
- Potential recipe - By the cooking station and a tent, on a table.
Spruce Knob Campground appears only in Fallout 76.
