Spread the Love was a community event in the form of a limited-time series of challenges for Fallout 76, tying in with the Valentine's Day holiday. It ran over a three-week period, from January 26 - February 16, 2021.
Overview[]
All Spread the Love challenges require the Heart Wrencher skin for the pipe wrench weapon. The Heart Wrencher skin can be claimed for free in the Atomic Shop during the duration of the Spread the Love community event. Once the skin is applied to a pipe wrench at a weapons workbench, one can start killing enemies and completing Spread the Love challenges.
During Spread the Love community event, the same daily challenge is given each day, offering one of three rotating rewards: a lunchbox, a perk card pack, or a repair kit. The challenge itself requires the player character to kill 5 enemies with a pipe wrench using the Heart Wrencher skin per day.
Additionally, three weekly challenges available during the three weeks of Spread the Love community event offer new, unique rewards. Each week, the player character must kill 30 of a specific type of enemy. Two of the challenges offer new cosmetic apparel items, while one gives a new C.A.M.P./workshop item.
Once the weekly challenges are completed, the reward is automatically unlocked and can be crafted at an armor workbench (in the case of the apparel) or at a C.A.M.P. or workshop (in the case of the C.A.M.P. item).
