The splitter is a weapon mod for the plasma gun in Fallout 4. It does not require any perks to craft.

The splitter splits the plasma gun's beam into multiple projectiles, which gives improved damage in exchange for poor accuracy. The plasma gun becomes similar to a shotgun.
