Spain was a country in Europe prior to the Great War.

Background

Spain, specifically its colonial empire, is mentioned in the Fallout intro and on the back of the Fallout Pen and Paper d20 guide, with the Narrator remarking that the country "built an empire from its lust for gold and territory."[1] Dean Domino visited the country's capital of Madrid before the Great War, where he got himself into a difficult situation.[2] The Pillars of Hercules are mentioned in the Pioneer Scouts exams. On a museum kiosk in the National Archives, the Spanish-American War is mentioned.[3]

Fallout Tactics The Cheyenne Mountain facility offers a Spanish language countdown.[Non-canon 1]

Appearances

Spain is mentioned in Fallout, Fallout 3, the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money, the Fallout 76 update Wild Appalachia, Fallout Tactics, and Fallout Pen and Paper d20.
