Somah is one of the few wastelanders unfortunate enough to have stumbled across recon craft Theta and been abducted. Prior to this, she was a slaver working in conjunction with the slavers at Paradise Falls. She has a sweet, calm disposition that is undercut by a sadistic streak that shows through when she's under stress. She's used to being in charge, but is aware that she's out of her depth aboard the alien ship. Aside from providing supporting fire, she can repair any items that may need fixing.
Somah was a slaver, looking to scavenge something good from the crashed UFO by following the signal. Instead, she's now just another captive for the aliens' experiments.

* When in the Engineering Core after she is able to repair items, you can throw Cryo grenades at her and she will freeze, allowing you to pickpocket the caps from her that you spent on her repairing your items. This makes looting the ship of weapons much more profitable, as you can have many 100% weapons without having a repair skill of 100. Elliot makes Cryo grenades for you and she does not become hostile if you throw one at her or pickpocket her. The Paralyzing Palm perk can be used for similar purposes.

* If you begin fighting her without her explaining her plan to you, the aliens will still interfere, but you will not be able to exit the holding cells.

* If you enter any area other than Robot assembly, such as the Cryo lab, Somah may continue to follow you and, if you go too far into the area, she may become stuck and halt the storyline of Mothership Zeta all together. The only solution to this is to kill her or reload a save from before you entered that area.

Oh, sure. Take your time. No rush, not like we're about to be sliced and diced by... who the hell knows what. Fine. So they've kept us alive this long for a reason, right? Seems to me they'd want to make sure we stay alive for now. So you and me, we have ourselves a little fist-fight. Trick 'em into thinkin' one of us ain't going to last too long. Make 'em come in here and break it up. And when they do, we turn on 'em. We take out the guards, and get ourselves the hell out of this box.

Somah is an abducted slaver being held captive in the holding cells aboard Mothership Zeta in 2277.

Background

Somah is one of the few wastelanders unfortunate enough to have stumbled across recon craft Theta and been abducted. Prior to this, she was a slaver working in conjunction with the slavers at Paradise Falls. She has a sweet, calm disposition that is undercut by a sadistic streak that shows through when she's under stress. She's used to being in charge, but is aware that she's out of her depth aboard the alien ship. Aside from providing supporting fire, she can repair any items that may need fixing.[1]
