For a cross-game overview of this perk, see Solar Powered. |
“Catch some rays! A good perk for the extra melee damage, carry weight, Health, and Action Points you receive. When you're finally able to regenerate Health, combine this Adamantium Skeleton (which heals limb damage) and snoozing on a bed during the night. Focus all your exploration during daytime hours.”— Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide description
Solar Powered is an Endurance perk in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
Taking ranks of this perk grants increased Strength and Endurance between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Higher ranks grant the ability to reduce Radiation and regenerate lost HP.
Ranks[]
Rank | Requirements | Description | Form ID |
---|---|---|---|
1 | END 10 | Catch some rays! Gain +2 to Strength and Endurance between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. | 0004D8A7 |
2 | END 10, LVL 27 | Sunlight slowly heals your radiation damage | 001D2484 |
3 | END 10, LVL 50 | Sunlight slowly regenerates your lost Health. | 001D2485 |
Notes[]
- Rank 2 heals roughly 4 rads per second, meaning the Sole Survivor can go from the brink of death to completely radiation-free in approximately four minutes. This effectively renders Lead Belly obsolete once the rank is achievable at Level 27, as any small amount of rads from non-cooked food or non-purified drink are near-instantaneously absorbed.
- However, rads will not heal if taking constant radiation damage, such as when swimming in water.
- Rank 3 regenerates 0.5% of their max health per second, but only outside of combat.
- This perk does not function when inside interior cells with no direct sunlight, even during the described time period.
