The Sniper's nest is a location in the Mojave Wasteland.
Layout
It is made of three rusty galvanized metal sheets with two for the sides and one for the roof, and has enough room for one person sleeping while another is on duty. There is also a small camouflaged net where a sniper could lay hidden and attack the Legion settlement at Cottonwood Cove.
Notable loot
- The Gobi Campaign scout rifle is locked in a very hard Gun case.
- Two ammunition boxes, one in the shack and one on the sniper ledge overlooking Cottonwood Cove.
- .308 round, Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap and healing powder on bench in shack.
Notes
- It is possible that this is the location from which Craig Boone performed the mercy-killing of his wife Carla Boone after she had been kidnapped and enslaved by the legion, as there is a clear view of Cottonwood Cove, which is a known slave camp. If you visit Cottonwood Cove with Boone, he will remark that this isn't the first time that he has been there.
Appearances
Sniper's nest appears in Fallout: New Vegas.
