Sleepytyme is a unique weapon added with the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal.

Compared to the standard 10mm SMG, Sleepytyme has been heavily modified, both externally and internally. It does increased base damage with a higher DPS, does slightly more critical damage with a slightly higher critical multiplier, has less spread (though more than a generic 10mm SMG with a compensator), has an increased ammo capacity (equal to a generic 10mm SMG with extended mags), and weighs the same while having a much higher value. It also comes pre-installed with a suppressor, which the generic 10mm SMG does not and cannot have and has a darker finish overall. Unlike the standard 10mm SMG, it is considered an improved holdout weapon.


Sleepytyme can fire a total of about 2,495 standard rounds, the equivalent of 63 reloads, from full condition before breaking.

Sleepytyme is the only gun that can be used for the challenge Nyah! See? that will not immediately turn all casino faction members hostile due to being the only qualifying weapon that is also a holdout weapon. Trying to use any other weapon will require refusing to turn them over.
