Sledgehammers are melee weapons in Fallout and Fallout 2.
Characteristics
The sledgehammer was used in the pre-War times for demolition or industrial works. A player character with high Strength can find the sledgehammer as an effective weapon for a limited time, as many other melee weapons outclass it.
Locations
Fallout
- One can be found in a small hut south of the Shady Sands garden.
- A Shady Sands citizen north of the garden carries one.
- Shark in Junktown carries one.
Fallout 2
- One can be found in the far end of the first level of the rat tunnels under Klamath.
- Sulik starts with one.
- Used by the Chop Shop mechanic in metal armor in the Chop Shop.
