Sledgehammers are melee weapons in Fallout.

Characteristics

The sledgehammer was used in the pre-War times for demolition or industrial works. A player character with high Strength can find the sledgehammer as an effective weapon for a limited time, as many other melee weapons outclass it.

Locations

• One can be found on the ground, in a small hut south of the Shady Sands garden.
• A Shady Sands citizen north of the garden carries one.
• Shark in Junktown carries one.
