Behind the scenes[]
The Skyline Valley region is based upon the real-life Skyline Drive, a National Parkway in the Shenandoah National Park in the state of Virginia. Lead designer Carl McKevitt took a research trip to Skyline Drive in 2023, and teased its eventual appearance in-game on Twitter.[Non-game 1]
