The Silver submachine gun is a unique weapon in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
The Silver submachine gun is shinier than a normal submachine gun, and also has darker colored wood for the pistol grip and stock. Other than that, it is no different from the normal gun. It has no special stats, properties, or access to any different weapon mods. Weapon mods also get the same color as the original parts.
Weapon modifications[]
- Standard receiver
- Standard barrel
- Full stock
- Large drum
- Standard sights
- No Muzzle
Variants[]
- Submachine gun - The standard variant.
- Spray n' Pray - A unique variant with the Explosive Legendary effect, sold by the wandering merchant Cricket.
Locations[]
- Rewarded by Kent Connolly for returning the Silver submachine gun prop to him during the quest The Silver Shroud.
- Sold by KL-E-0 if the silver submachine gun prop is found after the Silver Shroud costume is given to Connolly.
Notes[]
- This weapon cannot be renamed at a workbench, because the Silver submachine gun does not have a unique form ID. The form ID 001B28F7 is simply a leveled list the game uses to reward players with the Silver submachine gun during the quest The Silver Shroud. This particular idiosyncrasy is shared by only two other weapons: Ashmaker and the Survivor's Special.
- In a Diamond City Radio broadcast, a confident Travis Miles refers to the Silver submachine gun as a Tommy gun.[1]
- The Silver Submachine is the only unique variant of a gun in the base game to have a unique appearance.
References[]
- ↑ Travis Miles: "Crime in Goodneighbor has a new enemy, it seems. Why would someone don that costume? Your guess is as good as mine. Probably better, in fact. Goodneighbor resident Kent Connelly swears that he was actually rescued by this Tommy-Gun toting hero! So I guess if you're out there, and thinking about breaking the law, you might want to consider steering clear of Goodneighbor, or else the Shroud might come after you!"
