The shovel stock is a weapon mod in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World.

When equipped on a handmade rifle, it appears as the lower half of a short-hand shovel attached to the receiver as a substitute for a conventional rifle stock. The weapon gains increased per-shot recoil.

Location[]
The long welded barrel does not spawn as loot. It can be crafted at a weapons workbench.
It may appear equipped on handmade rifles carried by Disciples/Operators/Pack in Nuka-Town USA as well as any parks/outposts they are assigned to during the Nuka-World raider questline.
Behind the scenes[]
The weapon mod is a reference to a viral post in 2012 where a civilian gun enthusiast modified an owned AK-47 by attaching the broken lower half of a short-hand shovel to replace the rifle stock.[Non-game 1]
