The short scope is a weapon mod in Fallout 4.

Effects[]

When equipped on any applicable weapon, it appears with the "Scoped" prefix and a top-mounted scope identical to both the regular and night-vision scopes. The weapon gains a 4x magnification when aiming, 10% increased transition speed when aiming, and 20% increased sighted accuracy at the cost of 20% decreased weapon stability and 30% increased AP cost in V.A.T.S.. It serves as the tier 1 mod below the medium and long scopes.
