The short night vision scope is a weapon mod in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
When equipped on any applicable weapon, it appears with the "Night-Vision" prefix and a top-mounted scope similar to the regular scope mods. The weapon gains a night-vision effect in low-light areas, 4x magnification when aiming down sights, 10% increased transition speed when aiming, and a 20% increase to sighted accuracy at the cost of a -20% decrease to weapon stability and 30% higher AP cost in V.A.T.S. It serves as the tier 1 mod below the medium and long night vision scopes.
