When equipped on a handmade rifle, it appears with the "Short" prefix. The weapon gains increased recoil control with sustained fire.

The short improved barrel does not spawn as loot. It can be crafted at a weapons workbench.
It may appear equipped on handmade rifles carried by Disciples/Operators/Pack in Nuka-Town USA as well as any parks/outposts they are assigned to during the Nuka-World raider questline.
