The Shiv is a melee weapon in Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
A slang term in some areas around the world for sharpened weapons shaped from common objects, especially those made in jail. Also called shanks.

Characteristics
It's the weakest weapon in the game and, ironically, also the rarest. No vendor sells it and it is found only on hostile Los ghouls very rarely.
