The Shenandoah River is an unmarked river running across the former U.S. states of Virginia and West Virginia.

Background[edit | edit source]

The Shenandoah River is formed at the confluence of its North and South forks located in the former state of Virginia. The river then flows northeast along the Blue Ridge Mountains, eventually converging into the Potomac River at the West Virginian town of Harpers Ferry.

In 1763, the original town of "Shenandoah Falls at Mr. Harpers Ferry" was established at the confluence of the two rivers.[1] The river is the namesake of the parallel Shenandoah Street in Harpers Ferry and is mentioned in various songs played on Appalachia Radio.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

The Shenandoah River appears only in Fallout 76.
