The service robot is a model of robot that Vault-Tec implemented in the company's Corporate Vault. These service robots are small, box or vacuum cleaner-like robots, that wash the floor in the Vault and perform small repairing tasks. They often make a "pip" sound.
When the Initiate comes to the Corporate Vault in order to destroy super mutants, he uses a console to control one of the service robots. This robot is used to get behind laser grids and switch them off.
