I hope you'll forgive me. There's one last part of the job I declined to mention. One final... loose end to clean up. I wanted it to be a surprise gift to you. An opportunity... to be free. To join me in creating purity.

Saltwater Sam is a character in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground.

Background[]

Sam is the unassuming cleaner of The Showmen, taking discreet care of anyone who offends members of the faction (typically in a painful way that is designed to send a message). He wants the approval of Mother Charlotte so he can remain in her metaphorical family.

Vault 76 dwellers can assist him during one of these jobs, with a variety of outcomes.
