S1-14 is a Generation 3 synth and escapee from the Institute in 2287.
Background[]
S1-14 has been missing from the Institute for several months. In that time, S1-14 lost all their memories of the Institute and the fact that they were a synth. As of the time that the Sole Survivor enters the Institute, S1-14 has recently been discovered by a courser on a different mission, purely by accident. On receiving this news, Alana Secord orders for the courser to reclaim S1-14.[1]
