As a design intern at Obsidian Entertainment, Zingler worked on area creation, level design, propping and assisting with navmesh for the Fallout: New Vegas add-ons.[1]

Zingler was also credited on Dungeon Siege III during his internship at Obsidian. He later went on to work as a designer for the Tomb Raider series.
