The rolling pin is a Melee weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
A plain wooden rolling pin used to in baking to flatten dough, with a couple thin streaks of blood down one side. It is the weakest melee weapon in the game and thus practically useless. Even with a Melee weapons skill of 100 and all the affective perks, it is unable to kill even the weakest enemies in the game without more than a few swings.
It's special V.A.T.S. attack is "Lights Out", which does 125% damage at the cost of 30 action points (requires a Melee skill of 50).
Locations
- Cliff Briscoe's bungalow in Novac on top of the refrigerator.
- "Maud's Muggers" (from a Wild Wasteland encounter) are exclusively armed with them.
- Can be (rarely) found as randomized in containers around the Mojave Wasteland.
Notes
- The rolling pin can successfully strike about 495 times from full condition before breaking.
