Detailed walkthrough[]
This quest becomes available from Preston Garvey after joining the Minutemen and destroying the Institute with any faction. Preston informs the Sole Survivor of a rogue Courser that escaped the Institute before its destruction. To complete the objective, the Sole Survivor will need to eliminate the Courser. After the threat has been neutralized, the Sole Survivor can return to Preston Garvey to complete the quest.
