Rockbreaker's Last Gas is a ruined gas station in the Capital Wasteland in 2277. It is located north of Everglow National Campground, south of Five Axles Rest Stop, and east of Vault 87 and Broadcast tower KT8.
Background[]
Rockbreaker's Last Gas was named for a nearby quarry that supplied high-quality shale.[Non-game 1]
Layout[]
There is an Enclave camp nearby if the Lone Wanderer has completed the quest The Waters of Life. If one fast travels to this location, there is a large chance that they will be dropped into a swarm of Enclave troops. There may also be a super mutant brute with a centaur or two super mutant brutes and a super mutant master with a minigun nearby. To the west, high on a cliff, a small abandoned shack can be found.
Notable loot[]
- There is a Nuka-Cola Quantum on top of a Nuka-Cola vending machine inside the fenced area.
Notes[]
Walking in from the road, on the left of the entrance to the quarry is a “Type B” random encounter.

"Off the north-south road, near a rad-lake and shack is Rockbreaker's Last Gas, named for the quality shale quarried nearby. The place is deserted, save for an irritating Eyebot and a dead Wastelander, Chems, and Food. This is the future location of Enclave Camp E4.02"
