“What goes around comes around!”
Ricochet is a Luck perk in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
Taking ranks of this perk adds a chance for enemy gunfire (bullets, lasers, plasma bolts, etc.) to deflect and hit the shooter, killing them instantly, based on how low HP is. Higher ranks increase the chance of reflection as well as add a chance that the Critical meter will be filled upon a successful kill.
Ranks[]
Rank | Requirements | Description | Form ID |
---|---|---|---|
1 | LCK 10 | What goes around comes around! Any enemy's ranged attacks will sometimes ricochet back and instantly kill them. The closer you are to death, the higher the chance. | 001D247C |
2 | LCK 10, LVL 29 | There's an increased chance that an enemy's shot will ricochet back and kill them. | 001D247D |
3 | LCK 10, LVL 50 | When an enemy's shot ricochets back and kills them, there is a chance your Critical meter gets filled. | 001D247E |
Rank 1 adds a 1% chance for automatic weapons and a 5% for non-automatic weapons to be deflected when at or under 10% of max HP
Rank 2 increases automatics' chance to 2% and non-automatics' chance to 7%
Notes[]
- This perk considers friendly fire from NPCs like settlers to be deflection-worthy, likely leading to friendlies being killed and the rest turning hostile; avoid a settler's line of fire as much as possible while having this perk.
- The enemy needs to either have a maximum of 100 HP or be at 40% or less of their max HP in order for the deflection chance to apply.[verified]
- Miniguns have a 0.0026% (26% of 1%) chance of being deflected.
