Richard Harrison was an employee of the Bysshe Company and the site foreman of the Big Meadows gas well before the Great War.
Background[]
Richard was somewhat computer-illiterate; he frequently spilled coffee on his terminal and struggled to understand the meaning of "bugs" in his terminal.[1] As a result, Richard would have to use deputy foreman Nathan Davidson's terminal,[2] while Nathan sent in a request for Tim to repair Richard's terminal.[3] Tim attempted to explain to Richard that the terminals were not coffee-proof and promised to have the terminal working by Monday, once he retrieved some parts from the office.[1]
Additionally, Richard was frustrated with the quality of work at the gas well, and was actually hopeful that it would become automated. Part of his responsibilities as site foreman was producing casualty reports.[4] In September 2077, the site had at least three to five casualties, including an electrocution/subsequent fall,[5] a welding torch gas explosion[6] and a head trauma death from an employee's horseplay.[7]
