Detailed walkthrough[]
The NCR crime boss, Merk, looks to secure some valuable information, in this case, data on Enclave cyberdogs. After killing the Enlightened One in downtown NCR, or fighting Lenny the super mutant, the Chosen One has the opportunity to ask for more work. They will be sent to Dr. Henry's clinic, instructed to intimidate the doctor, retrieve the papers, and return. If Dr. Henry dies, Merk will attack. This can be circumvented by a speech check requiring Charisma 9 and payment of $500.
