Vault 81 residents are citizens of Vault 81 in 2287.
Background[]
Serving under Overseer Gwen McNamara, they work several shifts following her decision to allow traders from the Commonwealth into the Vault. With little outside contact, residents remain skeptical of outsiders until the Sole Survivor treats Austin Engill with the cure for the mole rat disease. Residents will often comment on their workload and inquire about life beyond the Vault.
