Repair the computer so the
all the Ciphers can access the old knowledge was going to be a quest in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. It is located at Mesa Verde, which is given by Azkee.
Background[]
Long ago, a Nemonik removed the memory core of the computer so any technical knowledge had to be passed on by the Nemonik himself. This was done to ensure that Mesa Verde didn't destroy itself with technology it wasn't responsible enough to handle. Azkee wants the PC to fix the computer so the Ciphers have access to all the knowledge.[1]
Character type completion breakdown[]
- Science Boy - Buy a replacement memory core and install it in the computer.
- Stealth Boy - "Borrow" a power supply from a junk dealer or salvager somewhere in the wasteland (Steal/varies).
- Combat Boy - Kill someone who has a computer core (most likely a salvager or merchant).
