- Loose mods for the lever action rifle may randomly be found in the Ash Heap, Savage Divide and Toxic Valley regions.
- Loose mods may also be for sale from vendors.

- The loose mod for the combat rifle is named standard reflex sight (dot).
- The loose mod for the hunting rifle is simply named reflex sight, not to be confused with the craftable mod of the same name.
