A Red Rocket gas station appears in the Fallout TV series.
Background[]
A standard Red Rocket franchise gas station, very similar to the one outside of Sanctuary Hills, the starting location of Fallout 4.
Thaddeus locked CX404 in a cooler here, to avoid complicating his next objective. The dog was found by the Ghoul before he returned.
Appearances[]
This Red Rocket appears only in the Fallout TV series.
Behind the scenes[]
- The Red Rocket was filmed at a real gas station in Nyack, New York,[1] which went on sale in 2020.[2] It was also the gas station set used in John Wick.[3]
- According to production designer Howard Cummings, there initially was not going to be a Red Rocket in the TV series until he made a request to the showrunners to be allowed to create one. The owner of the gas station allowed the film crew to use it for five days; the set was built in three days, shooting occurred in one day, and the last day was used to take down the set.[4]
