The Red Rock Canyon is a canyon where the Great Khans hideout is. It is located in the far northwest of the Mojave Wasteland. To get there:

  • You can fast-travel to Bonnie Springs. Then, go through a long corridor through the canyon. Traversing through this corridor you will encounter several groups of cazadores. Get there easily by then going north, following the road until it branches. Go west when this happens. Using your Pip-Boy you should easily see which road you need to take.
  • You can fast travel to Chance's Map. Then, you can take the long corridor route or avoid the Cazadors by going ~ S, then SW, then NW to wind into the wide mouth side of Red Rock Canyon. You'll see a variety of tribal symbols along the walls along the way. Once you arrive, there will be many yurts, a fighting arena on the ground floor and the main longhouse near some yurts up a path on the right about halfway into the canyon, looking in from the wider mouth entrance.

Layout

Red Rock Canyon consists of several yurts surrounding a central arena where the Great Khans perform their initiation ritual. There is also a longhouse where the leader, Papa Khan, holds court. Slightly to the northwest is the Red Rock Drug Lab, where the Great Khans manufacture and sell drugs. If you go on the upper ridge of the arena area there is a small pool of water. If you look up from the pool you can see a canyon that leads straight to the water hole. This could be evidence that Red Rock Canyon was once a water fall.

Inhabitants

  • Jerry the Punk, Poet who can't seem to pass his initiation rite
  • Papa Khan, Leader of the Great Khans
  • Karl, Emissary to the Great Khans from Caesar
