Notes

  • Both Recompense of the Fallen and the dog tag fist require a Strength of 1 and no Unarmed skill requirement.
  • Recompense of the Fallen cannot be used as a holdout weapon.
  • Equipping the Recompense of the Fallen will always remove the Courier's right glove, but not the left one, which has the Pip-Boy attached to it. This is true for all armors that use gloves.

Bugs

  • Icon pc.png Icon ps3.png Icon xbox360.png The item cannot be grabbed and moved around. [verified]
  • Icon pc.png Icon ps3.png Icon xbox360.png When wearing the Recompense of the Fallen and then going in to interrogate Silus during the quest Silus Treatment they are removed, but on exit and transfer of the Recompense of the Fallen to a companion your character still appears to be wearing Recompense of the Fallen, both when nothing is equipped and when you have other weapons equipped (e.g. Machete gladius or 12.7mm pistol). This glitch may occur with other hand-to-hand weapons such as the Golden Gloves. [verified]
