The recoil compensating stock is a weapon mod in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
When equipped on any applicable weapon, it appears with the "Recoil Compensated" prefix, and for some, the "Rifle" suffix. The weapon gains variably decreased per-shot recoil, increased transition speed when aiming, increased weapon stability, and increased weapon accuracy when aiming with scope modifications at the cost of 20% increased AP cost in V.A.T.S. It serves as the tier 4 mod above the short, standard/full, and marksman's stocks.
