Ranger Substation Osprey is a location in Zion Canyon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.
Background[]
Prior to the Great War, the National Park Service's Rangers stationed in Zion utilized a series of three substations (Eagle, Peregrine, and Osprey) to maintain their coverage of the canyon and oversee the park's maintenance and safety.
Post-War, the Sorrows tribe, according to their belief in the "Father in the Caves", marked the Ranger Substations and other pre-War buildings as off-limits and made it taboo to enter them.
Layout[]
All three have similar layouts. Situated southwest of the Caterpillar's Mound and east of the Zion Ranger station, Substation Osprey includes a Hard-locked storage area underneath the main office area, with some crates and a toolbox. The entire building is marked with the chalk-white handprints used by the Sorrows tribe.
Notable loot[]
- White Leg key - In a toolbox on the 2nd floor. Opens the cell door. Only appears during Prisoners of War.
- Cattle prod - Found in a toolbox among some crates in the cell below the outlook.

At this location, the map markers revealed include Cueva Guarache, the Zion Ranger station, and the Caterpillar's Mound.
Appearances[]
Ranger Substation Osprey appears only in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.
