Rad Absorption is a perk in the Fallout 3 add-on Broken Steel.

With this perk, radiation levels will decrease by 1 rad every 20 real-world seconds (this does not affect accumulation of new rads in any way). Waiting one in-game hour will remove 6 rads. 999 rads would require waiting 167 in-game hours to reduce it to zero. The rate applies to fast traveling, sleeping and using the wait function.
