Background[]
Fields was in contact with Abbie Singh, who resided in a bunker in the Mire. At some point, Fields waited for hours to talk to Abbie, who was not present. Eventually, they could not wait any longer, but still needed to deliver a message to her; as such, Fields wrote a note and pinned it near the entrance to the bunker's main living area. Fields, having heard that she was planning to make a trip, warned Abbie that Watoga was dangerous and that everyone there had been killed (more specifically, by its malfunctioning robots).[1]
