The Courier should make their way up to Ranger Substation Osprey, where they will encounter four White Legs guarding the prisoners. With a high enough level, one or more of the guards may be armed with brush guns.
After defeating the White Leg guards, the cell must be opened to free the three prisoners. To do this, either pick the Hard locked cell door or find the key in a toolbox upstairs in the Ranger substation tower. Either solution gives the same amount of XP, excluding the bonus XP for successfully picking the lock.

This quest is available only if the quest Flight from Zion (in which the Courier chooses to flee Zion) is active; otherwise, the location will be empty apart from any creatures that may spawn nearby.
If the Courier frees the prisoners, they will help fight the White Legs.
If any Sorrows die, it is not possible to complete the optional part of Flight from Zion.
