The following is based on Van Buren design documents and is not canon. |
Prepare/Fix Union Station was going to be a quest in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. It is located in Denver. It was the responsibility of Sean K. Reynolds.
Background[]
The Union Station, once a major landmark in Denver, lies in ruins. The Prisoner can figure out the railways stretching across the region here, as well as start repairs that might permit the creation of a working train - if not turn the Union Station into a major center of commerce.
Walkthrough[]
- The quest would have activated automatically upon entering Union Station, and be automatically added to the Pip-Boy.
- The quest overall was aimed primarily at Science Boy characters (focusing on crafting skills and intelligence), allowing them to perform various repairs. The player could hire the salvagers of Denver to help.
- Once complete, the station would either become the starting point for constructing an entire train or even become a full trading outpost. However, the design for the quest was not locked in by the time the game was cancelled.
