Not many patrols out here lately, which means not much loot. Our crew is thinking we should make a move soon. Follow the tracks up north; head towards the Strip. You in? Ain't on the chain gang anymore, but we still gotta stick together.Powder Ganger note

The Powder Ganger camp west is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281.

Layout[edit | edit source]

The camp is guarded by one to three Powder Gangers. It is also surrounded by several powder charges. The trailers contain a bed and some boxes of loot, that may be locked and marked as owned. A plank has been placed beside a trailer for an easy entrance to the camp, albeit not being very useful, as powder charges must be disarmed to enter this way.

In the center of the camp, there is a campfire for cooking, a trailer full of more containers, and a semi truck with contents spilling out into the irradiated sludge.

Notable loot[edit | edit source]

  • Powder Ganger note # 1 - On the table near the trailer. This note cannot be picked up or placed in the player character's inventory.

Notes[edit | edit source]

While approaching the location for the first time, it is possible to witness a very large explosion and find the remains of the Powder Gangers scattered around the area. This may be due to wildlife setting off some of the powder charges surrounding the camp and triggering a chain reaction explosion from the adjacent vehicles on the road.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

The Powder Ganger camp west appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
