The ported barrel is a barrel weapon mod in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
When equipped on an assault rifle, the weapon appears with the "Ported" prefix and tactical ports along the length of the gun barrel. It gains a significant reduction to per-shot recoil.

The ported barrel modification cannot be found in the game world. It may appear on assault rifles that spawn with raiders, Gunners, super mutants, etc. starting at around level 25, as well as those sold by weapons vendors such as Arturo Rodriguez and Myrna at the market in Diamond City, KL-E-0 in Goodneighbor, Proctor Teagon onboard the Prydwen at Boston Airport, the traveling merchant Cricket, and Ronnie Shaw at the Castle (after completing Old Guns). It can also be crafted at a weapons workbench.
