Don't give up on those things though. The community made it happen for Fallout 3, they will likely do it again for New Vegas on account of how similar the engines are. Obsidian might not be giving you that shiney new Corvega but you'll still get one in the end. Or a hoverchair. Or a vertibird. Or a jet pack(My choice). Or a motorcycle. Or a Chimera Tank. It isn't going to involve any characters from the previous games but it happens in the same setting that the previous games took place in so it isn't a sequel or a spin off

NO FALLOUT NEW VEGAS IS 2 YEARS AFTER PROJECT PURITY DUH
FO:NV is next in the cannonical order of events plus it includes cannon factions and sort of picks up some factions such as NRC from the origional fallout series.
graphics

I kinda think the graphics look like a mix of Fallout 3 and Borderlands. But thats just me.
Yeah the NV demos looked super cartooney I didn't really like the way they look.

- I just pre ordered my copy yesterday and according to Gamespots computer the release date is September 30th, the guy said this was most likely it, i wouldnt count on it staying though, Im thinking a early October release, but its not that big of a change

i hate that
the fact they can lie about release dates in store i once had to wait 2 years after the estemate to finaly get resident evil 5 and about a year after the estemated release date for bad company 1 this was from amazon ofcourse oh god how they love to lie i noticed that when i searched ps3 games thay all had the same release date march somthing all on the same day about 20 of them the same day the b!"£$%^& lied and pretended it was out in mrach as at the time it was close to march so people got tricked into buying it

strength requirements for weapons & governing stat for Guns
i know the strength reqs for the weapons at this point may be preliminary, but has anyone thought of adding them to some of the known weapons? you can see the stats for several weapons in the pip-boy during E3 demos.
also, i think it can be correctly deduced that the governing stat for Guns is PE...heard words to that effect mentioned in a demo & its in line w/Sawyer's PnP RPG.

i loved the expansions bethseda games added to FO3. does anyone think they will add it to FO: NV?

They won't add the exact same expansions but they'll probably come out with some sort of DLC
you're thinking of DLC already. the game hasnt come out yet. how long was it until the first DLC for FO3 came out? so dont hold your breath about DLC coming out the very next day. How on earth do I get my companions to return to me once they "disappear" into the wasteland while we're traveling?
