Popcorn is a pre-War food item that appears or is mentioned multiple times in the Fallout series.
Background[]
A product often sold at recreational locations before the Great War, popcorn's popularity did not end with the bombs. In the Fallout TV series episode "The Trap," it was seen being served to Maximus in his room inside Vault 4. In the next episode, "The Radio," it was served to the crowd at the ceremony for Lucy's exile from the Vault.
Characteristics[]
Advertised on grandstands, popcorn was sold alongside hotdogs, lemonade, cotton candy, apples, and Nuka pops at events held at the Tyler County Fairgrounds. It was also sold at Back Alley Bowling, advertised on bulletin boards. Signs advertising the snack line the boardwalk of Point Lookout's Pilgrim's Landing.
