There are 15 different variants of pool balls that can be found across Appalachia. Other than being used as decoration, they can only be scrapped for plastic.

- A full set of pool balls can be found at the overlook cabin, in a room that once was a pool room.
- A full set of pool balls can be found on a pool table inside the basement of the blue and red building with burnt books in Summersville.
- A full set of pool balls can be found inside Hornwright Estate, on the second floor in between the stairs on the eastern part of the Estate.
- A full set of pool balls can be found at Helvetia, inside a house between Freyja's Haus and the vote counting station.
- 11 can be found on and around the pool table at the Rusty Pick.
- 10 can be found at the Retreat, in Jennie Brown's hut.
- 10 can be found on the first floor of the WV Lumber Co. office on the pool table.
- 10 can be found on the first floor of the Blue Ridge office, on the pool table.
- 8 can be found on a cabin roughly between Flatwoods lookout and relay tower EM-B1-27.
- An eight ball can be found next to the terminal in the investigator's cabin.
